Polina Artsis is a Russian-German opera singer. She earned her diploma from Moscow State Conservatory and a Master of Music degree from the University of Music F. Liszt Weimar.

Her repertoire is deeply influenced by belcanto, with a particular emphasis on the works of Rossini. Polina has performed leading roles such as Isabella in “Italiana in Algeri” at Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern (Germany) and Tiroler Landestheater Innsbruck (Austria),  Angelina in “La Cenerentola” in Heilbronn and Kaiserslautern, and Tisbe in “La Cenerentola” at Oldenburgisches Staatstheater.

With over 10 years of experience on the German opera stage, her diverse repertoire spans various periods and styles, from Handel’s Bradamante and Amastre to Mrs. Quickly in “Falstaff” and Orlovsky in “Die Fledermaus”. She has also sung in world premieres of contemporary operas.

A guest soloist at prestigious theatres such as those in Aachen, Würzburg, Saarbrücken, Giessen, Pforzheim, Meiningen, Osnabrück, Schaffhausen, and Luxembourg, Polina has also participated in international Handel Festivals in Halle and Göttingen. Her extensive chamber vocal music repertoire highlights her versatility as a performer.

Currently based in Germany, Polina Artsis continues her career as an independent opera singer.
